Horizon - Work programme 2018-2020 per tecnologie emergenti 

La Commissione europea ha pubblicato il programma di lavoro definitivo ‘Information and Communication Technologies’ per il 2018-2020 nell'ambito del programma Ue per la ricerca e l’innovazione Horizon 2020. Le risorse a disposizione ammontano a oltre 2,6 miliardi di euro.

Work programme ICT 2018-2020

Il work programme 2018-2020 ricopre una vasta gamma di settori legati alle tecnologie ICT, dai big data al calcolo ad alte prestazioni.

Nei prossimi tre anni il programma di lavoro supporterà le industrie ICT attraverso i partenariati pubblico-privato (PPP) in settori chiave quali la fotonica, l’elettronica, la robotica, ecc.

La dimensione internazionale delle attività ICT, invece, sarà rafforzata attraverso bandi congiunti con il Giappone e la Corea del Sud.

Bandi ICT, quali temi sono finanziati

Il work programme 2018-2020 per il settore ICT prevede vari bandi articolati in argomenti (topic), raggruppati per ambiti di intervento:

Primo bando: Call - Information and Communication Technologies

Nell’Ue circa un terzo della crescita industriale è dovuta all’applicazione delle tecnologie digitali. La sfida che l’Europa dovrà affrontare nei prossimi anni è cogliere a pieno le opportunità offerte dalle nuove tecnologie, al fine di sostenere la crescita e la competitività del mercato unico.

Pertanto i topic proposti nell’ambito del primo bando intendono assicurare il giusto sostegno all’industria europea nel processo di trasformazione digitale.

Secondo bando: Call - Digitising and transforming European industry and services: digital innovation hubs and platforms

Il secondo bando del work programme 2018-2020 si concentra sui digital innovation hub e sulle piattaforme digitali.

L’obiettivo del bando è quindi duplice: da una parte, sviluppare digital innovation hub, che consentono alle imprese di accedere facilmente alle ultime innovazioni digitali, migliorando la produzione e la competitività delle aziende; dall'altra, migliorare la costruzione e l’interoperabilità di piattaforme digitali esistenti, integrando varie tecnologie.

Terzo bando: Call - Cybersecurity

Il terzo bando si concentra sul tema della cibersicurezza, fondamentale per lo sviluppo del mercato unico digitale.

I topic del bando costituiscono un ulteriore contributo della Commissione Ue al partenariato pubblico-privato (PPP) sulla sicurezza informatica, avviato nel 2016 per intensificare gli sforzi contro le minacce informatiche.
